The Club publishes an e-newsletter, available to all on the mailing list.

The newsletter is fairly short, with a brief recap of any notable events and a reminder of what is to come. It also contains information of any changes in racing instructions.

It is usually sent out in the latter half of the week, after Tuesday evening's races or talks, but before the weekend.

How do you get it? All Club members whose email addresses we have are automatically sent the e-newsletter. Plus a few non-members who have asked to be added to the list.

Why don't I see it?

There are a couple of possible reasons:

  • we don't have your email address;
  • the address we have is wrong;
  • your mail client is rejecting us because it thinks we are spam;
  • you declined to be sent further e-newsletters;

If you do want to receive it, make sure that you have flushingsailingclub@pofsa.co.uk in your address book; that ensures that your mail client thinks we are friendly. It is also worth looking through your Spam or Junk folder. If the newsletter has been classified as Spam (aka a false positive) you can click on it and also tick the [not Spam] box or button. That is usually enough to teach your mail client that you like us.

To ensure you are on the mailing list now do one of the following:

  • Add yourself to the mailing list by filling in this on-line form;
  • let us do it for you by using the contact form to say you want to be added to the list.
If you decide you don't want to stay on the list, you can opt to be removed and you'll never see another one. Simple.
