Evening meals are available at the Club on Tuesday evenings through the sailing season, and on practically every Friday evening. Over the Christmas and New Year period there may be interruptions.
An evening meal on both Tuesday evening and Friday evening can be pre-ordered through the FSC Food WhatsApp Group, but Denise, our caterer, will always have a few extras for those who fail, but they may not be your first choice.
All those in the group receive details of the choices available, which typically include some of the following, Tray Bake, Curries, Quiche, Fish pie, Chilli con carne & cheese enchilladas; there is also always a vegetarian/vegan option; and of course, the old stalwarts of Chips; Cheesy chips; dirty fries (aka poutine which Wikipedia describes as “a dish of french fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy” – who knew that?); and to round it off, a sweet. Denise always brings bacon and eggs if you fancy a bap instead.
