FSC ENVIRONMENT PLAN -2023
The Trustees and Management Committee have agreed a draft FSC Environment Plan for wider consultation. Given the declared Climate and Ecological Emergencies in Cornwall and the Club’s location in a remarkably sensitive and stunning location it is imperative that we take a proactive approach to reducing our leisure time environmental footprint.
Building the new Clubhouse in 2021 has delivered a very major step change in improving the Club’s sustainability but there is more that both we as a Club and as individuals can do to continue this improvement. The proposed Club Pontoon for example will also deliver a significant reduction in the environmental footprint in the estuary.
