Social events

The Club offers a varied programme of social events throughout the year including many interesting and informative talks from visiting professionals, practical demonstrations and quizzes, all supported by an excellent bar. The Clubhouse is an excellent place to relax and make friends.

As a visitor (and dog) friendly club, non-members are invited to share our facilities on Tuesday and Friday evenings throughout the year, and during Saturday afternoon racing throughout the season. The clubhouse is open every Tuesday and Friday evening throughout the winter except for a short period over Christmas and New Year, with an extensive and diverse programme of evening talks.

A fully stocked bar is available serving local ales. Suppers are available on Tuesday evenings throughout the sailing season and on Friday evenings throughout the year with wholesome menus provided by our caterers. Afternoon teas are provided on Saturdays through the sailing season. Teas (and cake) are provided by members who volunteer to bake and serve. The tea rota may be downloaded here. With a cheerful indifference to the vagaries of Cornish weather, members can also take advantage of the benches outside the club on the quay to socialise.

The Club has WiFi which is available to all. Just ask for the password if you wish to use it.
